Gender Equality and Violence

The FMRM, together with local authorities, promotes programmes aimed at promoting equality and, in particular, those aimed at eradicating gender violence.

Based on this premise, the FMRM has its own Equality Plan at its disposal to serve as an example, and with this and other initiatives, aims to accompany all Local Entities seeking a more just and equal society.

To this end, we collaborate with the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP) and the Government Delegation, with the Service for Attention and Protection of Victims of Gender Violence (ATENPRO).

It is a Teleassistance Service, provided by the Government of Spain through the Government Delegation against Gender Violence. It is based on the use of remote communication technologies and geolocation, through the delivery of devices ATENPRO, also being an accessible service for women with hearing disabilities.

Local entities are a fundamental element in the provision of the ATENPRO service. You can access the online form for membership and download all the application processing forms through the new website of ATENPRO.
