The Regional Negotiation Table for Local Administration has agreed to urge the CARM to undertake the pending regulatory developments
The Local Autonomous Regime Law or the Civil Service Law are two of the regulations that urgently need to be in place for better functioning in local councils.
This morning, the Federation of Municipalities of the Region of Murcia hosted the regional Negotiation Table for Local Administration, chaired by the mayor of Las Torres de Cotillas, Francisco Jesús Manzanera, and composed of the Secretary General of the FMRM, Manuel Pato, and representatives of the region's unions, UGT, CESIF and CC.OO.
In it, it has been assessed as an "urgent need", in the words of the members of the table, that it negotiates a model of general and specific bases to offer to the town councils, once agreed with the unions, to obtain a line of guidance in the processes to be undertaken for the stabilization of temporary employment in the local administration.
On the other hand, the need has been raised to clarify the specific competences, financing and management of the affected personnel, whether they belong to municipal nursery schools, conservatories, social services programmes or workshop schools.
Finally, the table has unanimously valued urging the CARM to undertake the pending regulatory developments such as the Law of Local Autonomous Regime, the Law of Civil Service, the regulatory development of the Law of Coordination of Local Police, or the draft of the Law of Emergencies.
According to the Secretary General of FMRM, “all this work would need to be done with the agreement of both administrations, since these are rules that affect both entities.”
