Local Police will collaborate with State Security Forces in the fight against terrorism.
The president of the Federation of Municipalities of the Region of Murcia, Joaquín Hernández , and the general secretary of the same, Manuel Pato , held a meeting this morning with the Government delegate, Antonio Sánchez-Solís , to establish agreements and coordinate the work of the different local police forces with the State Security Forces in the fight and prevention against jihadist terrorism.
The full willingness of both parties to collaborate and act jointly in matters of security has thus been demonstrated. In this way, local administrations and the different local police forces will implement and take a series of measures to work on the prevention and reaction to terrorism.
In order to transfer the information to all municipalities, the FMRM has committed to convening a Security Commission to address this matter and to urge the City Councils to hold Extraordinary Local Security Meetings, since they are the ideal place for the exchange and collaboration.
