The president of FMRM, María Dolores Muñoz, and the Secretary General, Manuel Pato, have held a meeting with the Government Delegate, Mr. José Vélez.
Among the most significant proposals are
- In the region, a Local Financing Law that develops art.142 of the Constitution, so that the municipalities participate in the income of the CARM.
- The LRSAL, a product of the crisis, only managed to reduce expenses by cutting local services, and not by clarifying local powers, as is the case with social services.
- In light of the review of the financial framework, we must insist that in the budgetary opening of the regional financing, the municipalities are not the big losers, thus valuing the rights of the municipalities.
