The project financed by the European Union, in which the Cepaim Foundation and the Federation of Municipalities of the Region of Murcia collaborate, has passed its halfway point with great results obtained so far, since through it a significant number of women receiving the minimum vital income residing in 12 municipalities of the region, are having the opportunity to train in digitalization in order to be able to face professional challenges that facilitate their labor inclusion.

The course began with a meeting between the responsible technicians to learn about the results in the participating municipalities, which are Lorca, Torre Pacheco, Los Alcázares, Cieza, Cartagena, Mazarrón, San Pedro Del Pinatar, Fuente Álamo, Alguazas, Murcia, Totana and Alhama de Murcia.

With this initiative, 736 women are now benefiting from training that will bring them closer to the labour market.

Over the next few weeks, the project will see significant progress and the results will be announced.

For its part, the Federation, in its firm commitment to the progress of local entities and the development of the SDGs, will continue to lead and/or participate in this type of projects, which place the local administration as the great defender of cities becoming more inclusive, resilient, safe and sustainable places every day, going hand in hand with private companies as indicated in objective 17 of the 2030 Agenda, referring to the public-private alliance.
