The publication of Constitutional Court rulings Nos. 225/2012 and 7/2013, which determined that the powers over Continuing Education fall to the Autonomous Communities, initially led us to assume that greater proximity to the decision-making bodies would translate into greater understanding between the CARM and the City Councils. However, we have unfortunately found that this initial assumption has not materialized, as the disadvantages have outweighed the advantages.
However, despite the problems of understanding that arose, in the year 2014 the FMRM developed its Training Plan for Local Employees, providing 1167 teaching hours, distributed in 42 training activities, and achieving the participation of 966 local employees. We will be posting the soon definitive report of the FORCON'14 Plan.
We all know that “works are love and not good reasons", and beyond superficial value judgments, sometimes, or those that express desires rather than realities, from the FMRM we continue working without making noise, knowing that our the guarantee is the “works” and the number of local employees we have helped to train. In this regard, it is worth highlighting that the FMRM is the oldest organization in the Region of Murcia in ftraining of public employees (since 1995), with a background, throughout these 20 years in the Making of experience, of 950 courses, 26.889 teaching hours and 17.500 participants.
These results, of which we are especially proud, are the joint achievement of teachers, mayors, councilors, training and human resources managers from each municipality, and local employees/participants who collaborated with us. We would like to publicly thank them here.
