On behalf of the president of FMRM, María Dolores Muñoz Valverde, we hereby forward the official declaration of mourning "as a testimony to the pain of the Spanish Nation and as a sign of condolence to the families and other people close to those who died and disappeared" in the shipwreck of the fishing boat Villa de Pitanxo in the waters of Newfoundland, Canada, published in the BOE of February 18, Royal Decree 146/2022.

Official mourning has been declared from midnight to midnight on Monday, February 00. During this time, the National Flag will fly at half-mast on all public buildings and Navy ships.
