The FMRM and the CARM hold the first information day of the Mortgage and Housing Guidance and Mediation Service of the Region of Murcia
The Mortgage and Housing Guidance and Mediation Service of the Region of Murcia will have information points in the 45 municipalities, through the collaboration agreement signed between the Federation of Municipalities of the Region of Murcia and the Autonomous Community, so that municipal technicians provide initial assistance to families at risk of losing their home due to non-payment of mortgage or rent.
The president of the FMRM, Joaquín Hernández, and the general director of Territorial Planning, Architecture and Housing, José Antonio Fernández Lladó, presented this week the first of the five training and dissemination days planned to which technicians from the town councils of Abanilla, Abarán, Alcantarilla, Alguazas, Archena, Beniel, Blanca, Ceutí, Cieza, Fortuna, Las Torres de Cotillas, Lorquí, Molina de Segura, Murcia, Ojós, Ricote, Santomera, Ulea and Villanueva del Segura were invited.
The second meeting will be held next Wednesday, November 21, in Cartagena, followed by others in Lorca, Yecla and Caravaca de la Cruz.
During this session, the different functions that the service offers were explained, ranging from general guidance and information, legal-financial advice to the family, to mortgage mediation with financial institutions. The latter is aimed at reaching an agreement on debt restructuring plans, interest rate reduction, capital and interest deferral, debt relief, payment in kind and social rent for the most vulnerable families.
