Under the title Tourism as an opportunity for the future, the conferences organized by UCOMUR were attended by several mayors of the municipalities of the Region, as well as directors of the Next business school, chaired by the journalist Manuel Campo Vidal, who will be in charge of teaching the semi-presential postgraduate course in Marketing and Tourism Intelligence and another on institutional communication for municipal representatives.
María Dolores Muñoz, defended in her speech that initiatives such as those of the cooperatives are necessary, which allow us to "rewrite our history", since "we are very rich and varied municipalities in terms of the tourist offer and many of them are totally unknown." The president defended the need to support the municipalities of the Mar Menor, "because there is a lot at risk", but without leaving aside the rest of the towns, which "take care of the emptied Region."
