Through the specialized consultancy Eurovértice, the FMRM has announced new opportunities to opt for EU subsidies through projects of great social significance

The Federation of Municipalities of the Region of Murcia held this morning at the Las Claras Cultural Centre its first Information Day on the new period of European funds 2021/2027 and the NextGeneration funds. Among the services that the FMRM offers to the municipalities of the region, is advice on European issues, for which reason the organisation has offered a talk specialising in this matter by Eurovértice Consultores, whose master of ceremonies has been Manuel Pato, Secretary General of the FMRM.

Euvoértice is one of the most powerful companies in this area, providing support to several municipalities that are receiving funds from the European Union.

In addition, Santiago Fernández Muñoz, Head of the Monitoring Unit of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan of the Office of the Presidency of the Government of Spain, attended the event online. Fernández Muñoz explained the different lines of aid and answered questions from attendees regarding the technical and economic aspects of these.

Mayors, councillors and technicians from numerous town councils in the region attended this event, and were interested in the more than 30 possible lines of aid for entering Europe.

Pato, for his part, closed the day by emphasising the importance of opting for all possible lines because, as he says, "it is essential to respond to citizens on social issues that are setting our agenda, such as the environment, the circular economy, sport, youth and culture, as well as energy efficiency."

Local governments have a challenge ahead of them, as European projects are currently the great opportunity for the transformation of towns and cities.
