The president of the Federation of Municipalities of the Region of Murcia, Mª Dolores Muñoz, has signed this general protocol that will help speed up the procedures for cleaning rivers in the municipalities of the region.

The Federation of Municipalities of the Region of Murcia, FMRM, has taken an important step this morning in relation to the maintenance of the urban riverbeds of the municipalities of the Region thanks to the signing of the General Protocol that took place this morning at the Segura Hydrographic Confederation. Representatives of both entities, Maria Dolores Muñoz, President of the FMRM and Mario Urrea, President of CHS, have carried out the signing of said document in order to speed up the cleaning of the sections, something very necessary for the municipalities, especially in recent times with the large floods caused by torrential rains.
María Dolores Muñoz, the Federation's top representative, commented that "this agreement is very important to anticipate a procedure that is necessary to avoid environmental problems, and I hope that the 45 municipalities will join this measure that is beneficial for everyone."
