The Federation of Municipalities of the Region of Murcia held this morning the Regional Negotiation Table of the Local Administration, which was attended by representatives of the unions of the region, UGT, CESIF and CC.OO, and the president of the same, Francisco Jesús López Manzanera, the mayor of Las Torres de Cotillas and head of the Commission of Modernization, Training and Innovation, and Public Function (HR) of the FMRM. The Secretary General of the Federation Manuel Pato also attended this table as a member.
At this meeting, the various points on the agenda were unanimously approved, which are a guide to undertake the stabilization processes, and two models of bases, one for the selection system of a merit-based competition and another model of selection by competitive examination.
In the words of the Secretary General of the FMRM, "we will continue working in this regional Roundtable, since we have found a space for dialogue where the agreements must be useful for the municipalities. In this case, it is specified in these bases and guidelines that will allow us to undertake the processes of stabilization and consolidation of the workforce, without forgetting that the final objective is the reduction of temporary contracts in the local administration.
