We must continue to move forward and in this context, Local Governments have direct and real input into the feelings of citizens and calls to guarantee citizen coexistence and non-discrimination. City Councils claim our role as essential agents in the design and development of transversal policies that guarantee equality and non-discrimination. From the FMRM: 1.- We recognize the need to invest in policies in favor of diversity by generating programs and projects of attention, information, training and awareness that make our towns safe spaces for sexual diversity. 2.- We reaffirm our commitment to human rights, while reiterating our firm determination to move forward in overcoming the barriers that still exist today. 3.- We express our concern and condemn the increase in the number of attacks on LGTBI people, and we will work on the information and training of the Local Police. 4.- We demand the need to provide local authorities with sufficient powers, resources and means of collaboration with the Government and the CARM to guarantee the effective equality of people in our towns and cities. HAPPY INTERNATIONAL LGTBI PRIDE DAY!
