Therefore, as both Muñoz and Marzal have assured at the signing ceremony, "with the extension of this agreement we intend to achieve new objectives after the success of the collaboration already experienced in which we have reached 15 municipalities as Child Friendly Cities.

Some of these new commitments are to advance awareness-raising strategies with local corporations in the region to disseminate good practices and adapt compliance with the Convention on the Rights of the Child to the municipal sphere; coordination with UNICEF to organize an annual training day for technical staff in municipalities, as well as the creation, implementation and evaluation of the Council for Child and Adolescent Participation in the Region of Murcia.
