The federation of municipalities in the region and metal industry employers will also carry out joint information campaigns on the courses with the highest employability rate.
The president of the Federation of Municipalities of the Region of Murcia (FMRM), María Dolores Muñoz, and the Secretary General, Manuel Pato, have visited this morning the Regional Federation of Metal Entrepreneurs (FREMM), to see the facilities and all the daily activity of said organization. The data of the FREMM are undoubtedly admirable, since the number of students who follow its training plan is equal to those who go through the Polytechnic University of Cartagena, and its initiatives can have a great impact on the municipalities of Murcia.
During this visit, FMRM has proposed to FREMM to sign a collaboration agreement to carry out actions that could be beneficial for both organizations, but above all for the 45 local entities that can project the initiatives of this organization in the towns with a direct benefit for the citizens and the business community.
The blocks that will form part of the agreement include the launching of information campaigns on the most successful courses for employability among students, the creation of a green seal to encourage municipalities to use and implement renewable energy, and the unfair competition in the sector.
The organisations have agreed to hold a technical meeting to draft the framework agreement and begin work.
For her part, the president of the FMRM said that, “it is necessary to encourage the municipalities to commit to green policies, and what better way to do so than through public-private collaboration, since in order to achieve sustainability, total involvement of the region's companies is needed, and the FREMM is a great travelling companion in pursuing this objective.”
