About the Day
The aim is to inform local councils about the opportunities of the new period of this programme to obtain funding for municipalities and cities.
Under the title, “Urban development in the period 2021-2027, from EDUSI to integrated territorial development strategies”, this event will highlight the great opportunity that ERDF funds represent for cities.
With a budget of more than 1.700 billion euros, the financing of integrated projects is planned to promote integrated and inclusive social, economic and environmental development, culture and natural heritage, sustainable tourism and safety in urban areas.
The new EDUSI will be implemented in the new period through Integrated Territorial Development Strategies.
This year marks the end of the implementation of the Integrated Sustainable Urban Development Strategies that have been financed in the period 2014-2020, so it is an ideal time to evaluate and reflect on the experience of different cities that have implemented their strategies.
During this session, the differences between both periods will be analysed and we will have the opportunity to learn first-hand about the new developments and financing possibilities for municipalities in the period 2021-2027, through financing with European funds.
