The Federation of Municipalities is in the final stages of launching the Youth Capacity training course, one of its European projects in which it participates alongside Italy, Cyprus, and Greece.
Registration is now open, and places are limited throughout the Region of Murcia.
The FMRM continues to take steps in its European projects area to improve the service it offers to local public entities in the region. One of its projects that is almost ready to be held is the Erasmus+ training course called Youth Capacity, which aims to provide tools and capacities to develop municipal Youth Plans in youth policy.

Youth Capacity also includes the participation of public entities from Greece, Cyprus, and Italy, ensuring cultural enrichment and exchange.
This course is free and offered in Spanish to all interested parties from July 5th to September 10th. With a total of 100 teaching hours, students will be trained in tools and content to develop projects in their municipalities using an e-learning platform. Several online sessions will be held via Zoom throughout the summer months, allowing them to organize their time as they wish.
The number of places is limited to 25, and priority will be given to local government employees responsible for youth-related areas, although it is open to the general public. The registration period ends June 25th, and those interested can send an email to jose.fernandez@fmrm.es and comunicacion@fmrm.es.

With the completion of this course, this project, which began in early 2019 in coordination with the other participating countries, comes to a close. The Federation of Municipalities aims to replicate it in future editions with more students, provided that the region's municipalities request it.
For his part, Secretary General Manuel Pato said, "Youth Capacity is an exciting project that gives youth policies the space and tools they have long demanded, and therefore, it is an exciting challenge for the FMRM to be the key to this training course for city councils." Pato added, "We cannot forget that training is a fundamental pillar for the Federation of Municipalities, and therefore we will continue to advance along these lines, making leaps in quality in international projects such as Youth Capacity."
