Today, the balconies and squares of town halls across Spain are dressed in purple to mark the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.
With this unconditional and indisputable support from local administrations, the influence and importance of these in the lives of citizens is once again demonstrated, since it is undoubtedly the public administration closest to citizens. The one that listens the most, the one that is most involved, the one that works the hardest and the one that shouts the loudest.
Today we are shouting out. And the Federation of Municipalities of the Region of Murcia joins in this day, as a representative of the 45 municipalities of the region.
Violence against women cannot be understood or justified. It is a scourge that must be eradicated with laws and education.
Together we are stronger. Add your strength on November 25
